About Ash

Hi I'm Ash| A Melbourne- based drummer who started playing the drums at 10 years old and has gained over 15 years of experience behind the kit.

Now I offer private drum lessons for students of all ages |from absolute beginners to drummers looking to level up their technique. My teaching style is relaxed, patient and judgement-free, built around each student's pace and musical interests

Alongside teaching, I also work as a session drummer| recording studio-quality drum tracks for artists and producers both locally and remotely. whether you're looking for powerful live energy or tight, polished studio drums, I bring precision and creativity to every performance.

 

Rather than a traditional music degree, I've focused my studies on drumming through 'Drumtek', a program dedicated entirely to instrument mastery. They offer a few styles to specialise in, In which I've decided to specialise in their Jazz drumming course.
